Each competition is categorised into fleets, a fleet is simply a group of sailors racing together on the water.
Organizing competitors into fleets helps make races fair and fun, allowing sailors of similar skill levels to compete against each other.
It also makes the event easier to manage and more exciting to watch, whether you’re a participant or cheering from the shore.
Breaking things down into fleets ensures everyone gets a great experience, from beginners catching their first wind to seasoned pros chasing the next victory.

Where do I fit in?
Don’t panic about which fleet you would be in or which age category you are in, turn up have a chat with us and we will guide you through the process to help you find the place you are most comfortable in.

And if you are still unsure after chatting to us, just go for the open fleet, it is literally any board and any sail.
